Madrid/Haugesund, 24 February 2022 – LaLiga and Superclub are proud to announce that Spain’s top football league will join forces with the football manager board game later this year with an official licensed expansion pack set to launch in October.
Spanish professional football is loved around the globe. Some of the world’s most famous teams, fiercest rivalries, and many of the best players call LaLiga home.

Superclub has enjoyed an incredible reception from football fans since it was first launched in English in October 2020. The first licensed club expansions followed a year later, and league expansions are now a natural next step.
The LaLiga expansion will include licensed player cards from all 20 LaLiga Santander teams and introduce an entirely new way of playing the game.
“Managers can choose whether they want to play a LaLiga-only game or if they want to mix the LaLiga IP with the original Superclub game. The main game is being translated to Spanish, but the LaLiga expansion pack will also be playable in other languages. We can’t wait to share our game with football fans worldwide”, says Audun Egenberg, Creative Manager of Superclub.
Game development is well underway and on schedule to be completed later this year.
