So you don’t have many friends or they don’t come around anymore? Well then Superclub would be off the books.

Not anymore!

Powerhouses means that you and your friend can play a great game against some tough opponents. Powerhouses are so strong that you will have to build your team to compete. They will give you a real run for your money.

Powerhouses gives Superclub a new lease on life for me as I usually only play with two or three real human beings. This expansion solves that issue.

Highly recommended.

Does what it promises, but it'll really slow you down

Honestly, it does what it is supposed to do and mitigates the luck effect of the SIM [if you have a better team you will always win, rather than random SIM losses] but it is also kind of boring [basically you will always lose at first, and always win later on] and makes the game really long and quirky. I had much anticipated this expansion as I often play 2 players, but I wish Superclub had found a more fun way to mitigate the SIMS - I'll probably play without from now on or make up my own rules (a deck of random opponents not on the board maybe, as placing and moving them is reeaally time consuming)
